Green Man 2024

2024 was our first year delivering workshops for a real live audience at Green Man. A wonderful festival in South Wales within the Brecon Beacons, a place I would definitely recommend to visit.

It was here that we decided to take our ideas and become a registered, non-profit organisation due to multiple parents asking us where we were based, thinking we were already professionally established which as you could imagine was uplifting and gave us great confidence that we were worthy of taking our ideas further. We still are not registered but we are in the process of doing so.

Myself and my friend Lizzie have been thinking of creating pipeSTEAM for quite some time after working together as technicians at Manchester Metropolitan University. We believed better correspondence and engagement between the ARTS and STEM departments was highly important if the university wanted to expand and develop.
