Down in London with LifeFabs
LifeFabs: London Milk Workshops
So, I was down in London quite recently and turns out LifeFabs had a workshop on, all based around the production of milk, how half goes to waste and so they are in the process of researching and developing ways in which this waste could be put to good use.
Biomaterials are what LifeFabs focus on with their institution which I think is a wonderful thing, not just because biomaterials is an interesting subject and relevant in today's world, but also you can see first hand how passionate they are about their work.
The people of LifeFabs are not only actively selling tickets to the public to make profit to fund their business, they support local schools by organising projects whereby children can learn more about the use of biomaterials.
It's great how they are open to teach others their skills, techniques whilst raising awareness about how important it is for the planet to start changing the manufacturing industry so we can keep our planet as safe as safe can be - examples like the milk workshops.
They are on a mission to engage as many people as possible so together we can explore and help make this a reality. Can you imagine that one day products like milk will become a staple material - I think we are quite close.
They have also learned from their time of exploration/trial and error, that they can even detect E. coli which is such a strange outcome but y'know, this could genuinely save lives.
To learn more about this amazing institution you can visit their website and join in on their workshops too…
