Green Man 2025

GREEN MAN 2025...

So, another year at Green Man which I would say went pretty well.

We are truly grateful for these opportunities at festivals as we always meet wonderful individuals, as well as build a bond with other organisations who are excited about wanting to share ideas and collaborate.

'TIME' was this year's theme at the Little Folk area which is a space for parents to bring their children, and so our 'GEOPAINTING' workshop fitted in well.

We are currently developing this particular workshop and so practicing with a real audience has definitely helped us realise what changes we need to make for next time.

Since last year we have simplified the workshop prep, whilst enhancing the educational part.

Here at Green Man we focus on the children however we do often have parents interested in the background of what we do and also ask to get involved themselves which is always wonderful as we want our workshops to be engaging for those of all ages.

This year we received a lot of positive feedback and also learned a lot from the children and their parents e.g.

- What stage of the curriculum children are at regarding their age

- How to communicate with children individually

- Meeting people who have a background in studying or simply having a hobby in subjects like Geology, Chemistry, History... and so we take note of what areas to focus when preparing for our next audience, as well as for our own interest.

We do have a few potenital projects in the pipeLINE for next year and will be reaching out to more festivals as a way to practice and network so for anyone reading and interested, feel free to get in touch and/or keep a look out for our updates!
